What exactly does "local service" mean?

By local services, we mean offers from tradespeople, freelancers, and private providers that are provided within a maximum radius of 50 kilometers from the user's place of residence. This includes manual trades, consulting services, hairdressing and cosmetic services, tutoring, cleaning services, as well as small repair and assistance services in everyday life. Not included are medical treatments, therapies, or diagnostic services – for these, we refer you to the relevant specialized portals.

How are providers verified on the platform?

Before activation, each service provider undergoes an identity check using a valid identification document. Additionally, at least two references or a trade license must be submitted. User reviews are released after a transaction confirmation and can be commented on by both parties. However, a complete verification of the service provided is not possible – we recommend having a non-binding conversation before booking.

What costs are incurred for using the platform?

Searching for and contacting service providers is generally free of charge for private individuals. For booking an appointment via the integrated calendar function, a service fee of 2.90 euros per booking applies. Commercial providers pay a monthly basic fee of 19.90 euros for listing in up to three categories. All prices include statutory value-added tax. A free 30-day trial period is available for new commercial customers.

What happens in the event of disputes between customers and service providers?

We provide an internal arbitration procedure that can be initiated within 14 days of reporting a conflict. Both parties are given the opportunity to present their perspective. Arbitration is free of charge for private customers; for commercial providers, a processing fee of 15 euros applies. No binding decision is made – the procedure serves to reach an amicable solution. Legal recourse remains open at all times.

How is my data protected?

All personal data is stored exclusively on servers within the European Union and processed in accordance with the GDPR. Data is only passed on to third parties if this is necessary for processing a booking (e.g., transmitting the address to the service provider). After the user account is deleted, all data is irrevocably deleted within 30 days. Detailed information can be found in our privacy policy.
